Fossil Watches History

The Fossil watch brand was founded in 1984 in the U.S. state of Texas by brothers Tom and Kosta Kartsotis that still continue today behind this brand of fashion accessories.
Fossil, which literally means "fossil" was the nickname that the brothers gave to their grandfather!

Fossil soon began to succeed in the world of watchmaking, thanks to innovative design and timeless lines of watches that have marked a pace unmatched in the industry. However, in the 90's, Fossil started presenting collections for men and women in the clothing and accessories categories, especially jewelery, wallets and sunglasses.

The brand's success has been so great over the last two decades that Fossil has become requested by other companies and designers - Burberry, Emporio Armani, DKNY, Adidas, Diesel, Philippe Starck, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Frank Gehry, among others - who wanted to launch watches in partnership.
Backstage, Fossil idealizes the dials and cases, and in terms of production, makes the assembly using prefabricated components.
